Welcome to Station 14 - North Pocono's Busiest Engine and Tanker


Thank you for visiting the website for Covington Fire, Rescue and EMS. Station 14 is located in the county of Lackawanna in the Northeastern part of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. We operate out of 1 house located on SR 502 in the municipality of Daleville in the township of Covington. We operate on a high band radio frequency of 154.310mhz and a local frequency of 153.860mhz. Station 14 responds on the following assignments:

1st alarm in Gouldsboro, Springbrook, Madisonville, Elmhurst-Roaring Brook, Moscow and Dunmore in Mt. Margret Estates.

2nd alarms in Thornhurst township.

3rd alarms in Jefferson township - Relocate 14 Engine and Tanker to Station 29. 

Hamlin on Salem box 6701 3rd alarm for Ladder 14 on commercial structures, Sterling box 6702 Rescue 14 is the FAST truck and Ladder 14 responds on the 3rd alarm for commercial structures.

Basically you get the idea - We go EVERYWHERE and do EVERYTHING.

Station 14 runs 8 pieces of apparatus out of a 4 bay house. We run 1 Engine, 1 Rescue / Pumper, 2 Tankers, 1 Ladder, 1 Brush unit and 2 BLS ambulances.

Station 14 is always looking for new members who want to learn what all this is about. Interested people should stop by the station on mondays or wednesday nights and speak to an officer. Keep in mind that you dont have to neccessarily go racing into burning buildings and rescue people from rotten situations ..... we're also looking for people that would like to help out on the executive end or with the ladies auxilliary with their business and functions.
